Bronze dragons dwell along the rocky, barren regions from the eastern shores of the Caspian Sea to the plains of Manchuria, making their lairs in environments shaped by millennia of shifting climates and rugged terrain. This vast expanse encompasses the arid deserts and rolling steppes of Central Asia, characterized by jagged cliffs, wind-carved valleys and isolated mountain ranges. One of the most noble and intelligent of dragons, revered for their justice, benevolence and deep connection to the natural world, these dragons are champions of good, often taking a direct interest in the affairs of mortals and striving to ensure the triumph of law and order over chaos

Bronze dragons are physically striking, their scales gleaming with the polished sheen of molten bronze. As they age, their scales take on a greenish patina, adding to their regal appearance. Their eyes shine with a perceptive intelligence, often conveying wisdom and a calm demeanor. Unlike their chromatic counterparts, bronze dragons prefer diplomacy and negotiation to outright conflict, though they are formidable warriors when provoked.

Advantages

In combat, they wield two breath weapons: a bolt of lightning that arcs devastatingly through their enemies, and a cloud of repelling gas that forces opponents to retreat. This versatility allows them to adapt their tactics to a variety of situations, emphasizing their intelligence and strategic thinking.

Bronze dragons also possess powerful innate magic, which grows more potent as they age. They prefer spells that manage elements such as water, fire, creation from earth or the manipulation of the weather, as well as magic related to divination.

Behaviour

As dragons, they are highly inquisitive and deeply curious about the mortal world. They are fascinated by history, philosophy and the moral complexities of human and humanoid societies. They often take the form of animals or humanoids to observe mortals discreetly, gathering knowledge and understanding the motivations of those they encounter.

Their love for justice and order drives them to intervene in situations where evil threatens the innocent. They often form alliances with noble adventurers, offering guidance, aid, or even their considerable combat prowess in the fight against tyranny or corruption. However, they are not easily fooled and can be wary of those whose motives appear self-serving or deceptive.
