Natural immunities are attack forms that have little or no effect upon a given creature. "Resistance" minimizes an attack form's damage, or effect; or it might allow the creature a superior saving throw bonus against that kind of attack. Creatures with a great many immunities can be hard to destroy with magic or with normal weapons; most creatures with natural immunities are unearthly, from other planes of existence.

Some forms of immunity and resistance are provided by spells or magical items.

Immunity Forms

The following is a list of identified immunities which some monsters and humanoids possess, or which are conferred by magic. As not every monster's immunities are presently known, this list is necessarily incomplete.
