Purify Water is a spell that converts tainted or dirty water into crisp, clear liquid; the dweomer can also change water-based drinks like milk, wine or beer into pure water. The spell has no effect upon liquids that are primarily devoid of water, like the acid vitriol for example. Parasites or speck-sized creatures are destroyed by the spell.
