Drip (cantrip).jpg

Drip produces a sound like water falling onto a hard surface or a liquid, as desired by the caster. The effect can be maintained for as long as the caster concentrates.

Drip
Range 10 ft.
Duration until stopped
Area of Effect 60 ft.; hearing range
Casting Time 2 action points
Saving Throw none
Level cantrip

Underground, or in urban environments, the sound is especially aggravating, so that it's 90% probable that an intelligent listener within the area of effect will feel compelled to investigate.

As this creature looks around, attempting to identify the sound's origin, they'll be sufficiently distracted to allow an ambusher a +1 chance of surprise.
