Insight is a sage study in the field of the Way of the Spirit, providing knowledge to the character that would otherwise be unknowable, more in the form of being able to recognise the hidden clues within objects and events rather than acting as a form of divination.
Sage Abilities
The sage abilities below are those acquired by a character through the study, according to status.
Amateur Status
- Commune With Magic: detect the presence and base nature of magic weapons and armor.
- Sense Attention: identify if the party is being watched and by whom.
- Sense Vibration: feel adjustments to walls and floors more easily that others.
Authority Status
- Commune With Reliquary: detect the base nature of all magic items, including artifacts.
- Inner Sight: be conscious of the surroundings while in a state of meditation (one hour per level).
Expert Status
- Cast Eye: extend the vision outside the body.
- Other World Eye: see into the ethereal plane.
Sage Status
- Other World Sight: visually locate any known being through the astral plane.
