Pedestal is a sage study in the field of the Way of the Stone, taking a place and be rooted to it, so as not to yield one foot of ground to an enemy.
Sage Abilities
The sage abilities below are those acquired by a character through the study, according to status.
Amateur Status
- Stability: the ability to retain the body's equilibrium in situations where the character might fall.
- Root Feet: remain rooted to the spot against attacks.
- Strength of the Pillar: double the character's weight limit if the character does not move.
Authority Status
Expert Status
- Accumulate Defense: the longer the character remains rooted in one spot, the better their armour class progressively gets, until they are virtually untouchable.
