Spider is a cantrip that conjures a diminutive arachnid within a 10-foot radius of the caster. This arachnid can traverse an additional 10 feet from its summoning point to deliver a bite to a target creature, inflicting 1 hit point of damage without requiring a roll to hit.

In addition to the damage, when the spider attacks, there's a 3% chance per level of the caster that the spider is highly poisonous, in which case the victim will need to make a saving throw. If this fails, the poison will cause 5-12 (d8+4) damage; there are not lingering after-effects.
