Dual Attackers is an authority-status sage ability, in the study of Martial Discipline, allowing a character in combat to fight together in a single hex, so long as the secondary combatant, or "shield bearer," possesses the phalanx sage ability.
Not only does this allow both characters to fight together in a small area (without being "fouled"), but both receive the armour class bonus (1 pt.) from same shield that one combatant holds. This frees the hands of the other to use a two-handed weapon or employ a second weapon. If the primary combatant possesses the skill, main-gauche, then the armour class bonus from the dagger is applied in addition to the bonus from the secondary bearer's shield.
