Tenser's floating disk conjures a circular, concave disc that floats up to three feet in the air. As a 3-ft. diameter shallow bowl, it's able to carry whatever the caster desires, including people and liquids — though there's no means to separate one item from another. The colour can be adjusted as wished.

Once conjured, the disc will follow along wherever the caster wishes to go, though it must stay within the spell's range or the dweomer collapses. It can move at a slow walking speed, up to 10 hexes per round.
It must have a flat surface on which to move; if the disc can shift to protect it's load, it will, but anything angle above 15° and the disc tumbles its contents and disappears. Thus the disc has limited usefulness over rough terrain.
The disc can be used as a place to sit or rest, but as it tends to wobble when weight is shifted atop it, it won't serve as a platform to fight from. A small enough person or pet could easily sleep or rest on it, but the disc offers no protection against the weather; a tarp is necessary to protect carried goods from rain and snow.
The disc does not increase size as its weight potential increases; and however much is stacked upon it, the load will never appear to be more than three feet wide and two feet high. In this way, the disc acts like a bag of holding, shifting material at the bottom into an alternate, undefined plane of existence.
Origin
Tenser of Stirling was a Sage of Science born in Scotland in the year 1509 of the clan Erskine. Though known to be mad as a hatter, he became the chief sorceror in the court of James V at the age of 30, continuing in that position under James VI. In 1561 he founded the Edinburgh University of Thaumaturgy. He died at the Battle of Langside in 1568.
