The sound made is strident and resonant, so that it will be clearly heard up to a 60 ft. distance. The belch cannot be mistaken for anything else. The cantrip is only effective against humanoids.

If used against an opponent in combat, the opponent's armour class is lowered by 4 points for one round, and by 2 points for the round thereafter.
