Present (cantrip).jpg

Present is a cantrip that fetches any object on the caster's person to his or her grasp, regardless of it's precise location in the caster's backpack, pockets, pouches or other place. The relocation occurs after the cantrip's casting time.

With objects such as coins or gems, the caster can bring forth as many such items as can fit in one hand; thus the caster could produce 15 silver pieces on command, as if this were one object. The exact change can be specified, and the items may be obtained collectively from several places on the caster's body.

Likewise, the character can bring forth a weapon, a magical item, the belt pouch itself or any other object, even the character's robe or loin cloth ... so long as it can be held in one hand. Naturally, a piece of clothing removed from the character's body could potentially leave the individual bare-assed — but that's the caster's choice.

The dweomer is distinct from the cantrip, palm, which obtains an item that is visible prior to its being brought to hand, which need not be possessed by the caster.
