Make Fire is an authority-status sage ability in the study of Scouting, not to be confused with any of a number of spells designed to create fire.

The ability allows the character to light a fire using a number of different potential methods, none of which require tools that cannot be found in the wild. Note that the ability cannot be used if the environment is wet or in climates where rainfall is daily (such as jungles or some coastal forests). So long as the materials to be used are dry, however, the character will be able to create a fire using tinder and friction or a spark created from found rocks, applied to dry fibers that can be made to light.
