Illusionary Script enables the inscription of a message on any surface which can be read only by persons specified by the caster — there is no limit on the number of persons who may comprehend the message.

Illusionary Script
Range 5 ft. per level
Duration permanent
Area of Effect see text
Casting Time 2 rounds
Saving Throw none; see text
Level illusionist (3rd)

The script will be visible to others, however — and if an attempt is made to read the message by any not specified by the captor, they must make save or suffer the consequences indicated on the side table. Some of these effects may be disregarded should circumstances dictate that no other creature is there to be attacked, or there is no hard surface available for the unfortunate creature to strike its head against.

A true seeing spell will reveal the contents of the script to the reader.

One instance of the illusionary script may be placed into existence per level of the caster; once that limit is reached, a new casting of the spell will automatically dispel that which had formerly remained in existence for the longest period.
