Dog training is a sage study in the field of Animal Training, which encompasses a broad spectrum of abilities essential for working with canines as both companions and functional partners. The ability involves expertise in various aspects such as domestication of wild dogs and wolves, hunting techniques, protection training, assisting in prey capture, tracking skills, sheep-herding proficiency, obedience to verbal commands, attacking on command, scouting duties, search and rescue operations, scent detection for specific substances, identification of potential threats and guarding roles.

Furthermore, dog training includes the development of dogs with enhanced physical prowess and intelligence through selective breeding and specialized training programs. This comprehensive skill set equips individuals to effectively communicate with, nurture, and utilize dogs across a wide range of tasks and environments.
