Close Wound (cantrip).jpg

Close wound is a cantrip that enables the caster to quickly end the damage being done to a combatant by an open, bleeding wound. The dweomer cannot close multiple wounds suffered by the same recipient, but can close any single of wound of any size with the same effectiveness.

Close Wound
Range 10 ft.
Duration permanent
Area of Effect 1 creature
Casting Time 2 action points
Saving Throw none
Level cantrip

Not only humanoids, but wounds sustained by other creatures may also be sealed safely. Once enacted, the dweomer's effect is permanent. The cantrip offers no additional healing, however; this must be obtained through other means.

In cases where a character may employ surgery as a method to cure maladies, the cantrip can be use to efficiently close up deliberate incisions of any size. Further, it's also possible to close up the wounds of a slain creature, preserving evidence for later analysis or examination by skilled individuals.
