Aid rest is an amateur-status sage ability in the study of Medicine which enables the character to improve the restoration of hit points (h.p.) in other persons who have rested. Up to one creature can be aided per 5 knowledge points possessed by the character. Thus, a character with 46 points of knowledge would be able to attend up to nine persons in the space of a day, improving their rest.

Each creature attended through this skill will heal as though two levels or hit dice higher, per day of rest. For example, a 2nd level character would heal 4 h.p. per day instead of 2.

Note that a character who aids others in healing from rest cannot benefit from resting themselves.
