Colour (cantrip).jpg

Colour adjusts or enhances the colour of an object, potentially changing it as many times as the caster wishes through repeated use of the cantrip. Metal can be altered from one hue to another, though it will be plain upon inspection that iron that's coloured golden or silver certainly isn't precious. The denizens of the game world are able to recognize an unexpected, yet plainly magical effect when they see one.

Area of Effect 1 object or feature
Casting Time 2 action points
Saving Throw none
Level cantrip

The cantrip's also able to adjust certain character features, specifically hair and eye colour, lips, fingernails and toenails ... but otherwise the character's skin or body cannot be adjusted. Adjustments to features are not permanent, but will only last 30 minutes per the caster's level.

Clothes and other materials that are coloured by means of the spell will look as though they've been properly dyed or painted, whichever seems most natural. More than one colour cannot be created; the object must be of a single hue ... though accessories added to the object may be differently coloured before being attached, so that with some effort truly interesting works can be developed.
