Duration | 10 rounds |
Area of Effect | 1 light |
Casting Time | 2 action points |
Saving Throw | none |
Level | cantrip |
Causes an existing light source to be reduced to half its radiance for the duration of the cantrip.
If applied against the light spell, the radius of light will be lowered 10 ft. … though it must be noted that because of the range of the cantrip, the caster would have to be inside the lighted area to affect it.
Dimmed fires, torches, lanterns and other light sources will allow thieves and assassins to come 2 hexes closer to their victims than they otherwise would be able to.
Dimming lights will also modify attacker’s missile fire by -1 to hit those within the diminished light.
