Creates a wall of circling, razor-sharp blades, which will attack any who attempt to pass through them.

These whirl and flash in endless movement, causing 8-64 damage (8d8) to any who move into a hex where they occupy.

They appear anywhere up to four hexes away from the caster, in any conglomeration the caster wishes, so long as the four hexes covered are adjacent. The caster may stand in or move through any part of the blade barrier without harm, but if the caster is attacked, the blade barrier's damage will result against the attacker.

Once the blades are created, they cannot be moved. The barrier, however, can be reduced if the caster chooses, from its original size; it cannot be enlarged or re-extended.

The blades will not discriminate who or what they attack, except the caster
