Warp wood is a spell that has the ability to permanently distort, mangle, twist and even "melt" wood, effectively altering its shape and rendering it unusable for its intended purposes. This completely ruins the value of the object, whether it was meant to be a tool, a component in construction, part of a vehicle, a piece of armour or a weapon.

The caster may choose the manner in which the wood is warped, but may not make a desired shape through the dweomer's use. He or she can warp specific parts of the wood, such as a weapon's handle or the axle of a wagon, thus distorting the practical value of the object.
Attacking Structures
With much larger constructions made of wood, such as ships, towers and buildings, the possibility of sinking or collapse depends on the percentage of the object that's warped. The spell allows a 5 ft. square surface to be warped per level of the caster. The method could, if used upon one corner of a tower's base, cause it to collapse, provided the caster were high enough level. Some expertise is needed to determine how much support would need to be warped to bring the structure down, depending on its base, its height and the building's overall weight.
When used against ships, 1 point of hull or mast damage can be done to ships per three levels of the caster.
