Reveals the nature and location of traps designed to either capture creatures or cause them to fall. The spell reveals both traps that are designed and naturally occurring deadfalls due to weak strata or sink-holes. The spell will also reveal yledges, hand-holds or outcroppings unable to support the weight of the caster.
The area of effect is not limited to the caster’s line of sight. Thus, a hidden trap that is physically behind a wall or door will be revealed, along with its general design and purpose.
The spell will improve a character's ability to remove a found trap by 10%, as it enables the caster to explain the nature and design of the trap.
