Illusionist (class)
These rare and enigmatic spellcasters, masters of illusionary magic, possess cognitive abilities far beyond those of the typical individual. The sheer imagination and creativity required to wield their craft sets them apart, making their abilities both bewildering and awe-inspiring to those who witness them. The scarcity of illusionists perhaps explains their tendency toward reclusiveness, with the most powerful among them using their own illusions to shroud themselves in secrecy, withdrawing from the mundane world into a life of study and introspection.
Drawn to the esoteric, illusionists devote themselves to intellectual pursuits, often found buried in ancient tomes, conducting alchemical experiments, or unraveling the mysteries of the natural world with a scientist’s precision. Many turn their inquiries inward, exploring the nature of perception and the mind itself. Their exceptional intelligence and disciplined focus leave them largely indifferent to the ordinary concerns of common folk, as they seek understanding on a level that few could ever hope to grasp.
