Though the damage is very little, there's yet the possibility that the dweomer may stun a weak defender or generally contribute to an enemy's downfall. Additionally, the bite breaks the concentration of a spellcaster weaving a spell.

Enraging

There's a 3% chance per caster level that the victim, if a riding or working animal, including a hippogriff or pegasus, could be driven mad by the bite. If so, the creature is possessed by a rage and will try to buck and throw it's rider. If this happens, the rider must make a saving throw against poison or be thrown from the mount. Characters with animal handling abilities of authority-status recieve a +3 bonus to this save.

If a cart or wagon is attached to the animal, the vehicle will be wrecked and unusable without several days of work and the animal's rage will cause it to suffer 2-12 additional damage.

The bee cantrip is similar to a group of other personal cantrips that include bee, bug, mouse and spider.
