Teamstering is an amateur-status sage ability in the study of Logistics, that enables a character to drive one or more animals as a team pulling a cart or wagon. Various animals may be applied to this task, though horses or mules are preferable. Donkeys can be used to draw a cart. A character using oxen to pull a wagon or a cart is commonly described as a bushwhacker. Teamsters are also known as carters; goods are typically collected at a carter post, where items for shipment are temporarily stored until they can be moved on.

Teamstering also allows the character to drive a team for the purpose of tilling a field, as well as hauling. The teamster has the ability to pack and arrange a load well, to put the least possible strain on the vehicle's axles and to greatly minimize shifting or the possibility of items or content rolling or falling off. This enables a teamster to arrange a wagon to carry stacks of wheat and other like products 9 to 12 feet above the wagon's bed, to get the most from of the vehicle's capacity. These general skills allow a teamster to increase the capacity of a wagon by 10%, and a cart by 15%.

Apart from a cart and wagon, the teamster is also able to manage a carriage or a sleigh, the latter over snow and ice.

No skills are provided for managing a dog sled team, elephants or any other unlikely beast.
