Maxwell (talk) I noticed there are no abilities related to cartography & mapmaking. Maybe the creation of maps themselves is a Cartography ability for the Publishing study, while taking accurate notes of terrain features could be an ability for Scouting.

Scouting is done in the head, with memory, not with a physical map ... at least, that's how I see a 17th century scout. Obviously, a post 19th century scout would use a map. Want me to do it?
