The character must assign their knowledge points to a single religious practice of the character's choice, commensurate with the character's religious beliefs. Note that art & music for many different religions do overlap and that certain elements of design or normally borrowed from alternative religions. Additionally, it must be admitted that many religious practices - particularly those of pure fantasy - do not have established histories of art & music - in such cases, where the DM has not already established a religious form, the player is invited to invent one for themselves.

Religious Art & Music (sage study).jpg

Religious art & music is a sage study in the field of The Church, investing the character with a particular "spiritual strength." This is needed to inspire artistic creators of all kinds to create sacred objects worthy of divine recognition and immortality. The character pursuing this study is not an artist, but rather a patron that understands what great works need to be made — while also possessing the forceful temperament needed to bring about the funding and motivation for such work.

Therefore, the study is second-hand in nature. Through oration, reiteration and vision, the character accumulates backers and artists, acquires property and enables the transformation of buildings and other common places into centers of religious importance. Through the illustrations of art, singing, icons and other objects of beauty, with the building of churches and cathedrals, the character is able to strengthen the belief of tens of thousands of devout worshippers, lasting through lifetimes to come.

The sage abilities below are those acquired by the character through the study, according to status.
