Publishing is a sage study in the field of Humanities, granting the character knowledge in the writing and dissemination of literature, music or images, most usefully in the form of creating magical scrolls and tomes for later use by anyone able to read magic. At earlier stages the character is able to read and write with perfect accuracy, so that anyone who reads the written word of someone with this knowledge will understand intent as well as content. With greater knowledge comes the ability comprehend written magic (including glyphs), copy magic and then to create magic words even at the highest levels of knowledge. Publishing is necessary for the creation of magical scrolls.
