Planar travel & gating is a sage study in the fields of Black Magic and Unreality, enabling the character to transition self and others from one plane of existence to another. This also grants the wherewithal to cross into the ethereal, or to navigate the astral plane. This travel may be done through a variety of means, but most especially through the location of "gates," which enable persons to travel between planes as easily as passing through a door. Locating the right door to the right place is an important part of the study.
