Identifies the presence of living things within the area of effect. The spell will distinguish between plants, animals and fungus, and among animals will distinguish reptiles, amphibians, mammals, birds, fish, insects and hard/soft bodied creatures from one another.
Though the caster’s vision may be obscured, the spell will detect the presence of life through rock, wood or stone.
As the cleric turns or moves, so too will the area effect of the spell.
