Armourers are smiths, working in stone shops along avenues in high end districts. In very large cities there were be an armourer's guild, working together on one or more streets, but more usually armourer's shop are scattered, with each armourer having each district as a territory. While armour has to be fitted somewhat to the specific needs of a person's shape and size, usually this means a collaboration of pieces that can be fixed together the same day or the next, as usually there are 5-10 armourers and apprentices who work in a shop.
