The cantrip will grant the illusion of depth to the image, so that when seen head on, objects depicted will ''seem'' real.  When used in sufficiently poor light, or when made to appear the same as the background in front of which it's placed, the cantrip can effectively conceal those attempting to hide — perhaps in the two foot space between the two-d'llusion and a wall.  If there is space to stand behind or under the illusion, the caster is able to see through it, but others cannot.  The image from the back will appear exactly the reverse as the image from the front.

Two D'llusion (cantrip).jpg

Two d'illusion enables the casting of a two-dimensional illusion that appears as a flat plane, the nature of which is immediately evident when viewed from the side. The effect that works best when projected on a flat surface that prevents seeing it from an angle, such as against a solid wall or from a sufficient distance.

Two D'Illusion
Range 10 ft.
Duration 1 round per level
Area of Effect 6 ft. square
Casting Time 2 action points
Saving Throw none
Level cantrip

The vision depicted must be realistic and "believable." Perfectly ordinary scenes that might occur anywhere, incorporating movement and creatures going about they're daily lives, may be depicted ... but unrealistic situations, or specific depictions of creatures acting in a defined manner are not enabled by the cantrip. Thus, a lamplighter carrying a torch could be seen, but he or she couldn't be made to specifically gesture to an observer.

When seen, the vision will "seem" real; when employed in sufficiently poor light, the illusion can easily be used to conceal someone wishing to hide. The caster can see through the illusion from any direction, but others, even the caster's friends, are unable to do so. The illusion appears from the back the same as it does from the front.

The illusion can be projected at any angle, vertically or horizontally, as the caster wishes.
