As an authority or better, the character is able to use the following weapons: club, dagger, horseman's mace, pick or flail, lance, scimitar, bow, short sword, sling and spear, all without any weapon penalties.

The character receives a +1 bonus to hit opponents that are on foot.

Charging while mounted on a horse offers additional bonuses and advantages.
