Blocks describe physical spaces that act as locations in the game setting, typically those that will fit in a hexagonal area that is 145 yards in diameter or less. For example, the sub-technology of the Basic Wheel & Axle permits the existence of the open air market and carter post blocks, promoting public places of trade and goods shipment.
