Domain hex maps are mapped areas in which the hex is 1,304 yards in diameter, approximately 0.741 miles, with an area of 351 acres. Three domain hexes in a straight line are as long as a 2-mile hex is wide. Domain hexes are used to map very small areas, such as though used in the random wilderness generator.
