These are lands that have been reinvented for my game world. The obscurity of these lands in the 17th century allows me to settle them with Jotunheim's [[Frost Giant|frost giants]], Biyetia's [[Goblin|goblins]] and the unknown denizens of Humutya — withheld for the day when my players have a reason to go here.

| − | The northern passage between the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barents_Sea Barents Sea] and the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kara_Sea] is choked with ice in nearly every month of the year, impassible for most ships of the period. Without sufficient magic, a journey as far north as Humutya would be infeasible. For two months of the year, August and September, small whaling vessels, strong enough to endure the ice and ride over it (a larger, heavier ship would be crushed), can be found in these waters. No doubt, a frost giant ship, made of Siberian timbers and perhaps stone, might be strong enough to endure the ice and would make a memorable adventure. A small goblin ship in the Kara Sea could be tempting for plunder.
