Enables the character to place shoes onto the hooves of horses and other equines for protection. The ability includes trimming and balancing the shoe for the foot, adjusting metal shoes and caring for the feet of horses, mules and donkeys, as well as fabricating the metal shoe.

Fabrication requires a hammer, anvil and forge. A set of farrier's tools are required for other tasks.

The ability to make horse shoes provides no knowledge whatsoever of other blacksmithing talents.
