Magic Fabrication (sage study)

Magic fabrication is a sage study in the field of Black Magic, investigating the making and enchantment of magical items and instruments, machines, tools, parts and other objects designed for a particular purpose. It is especially needful in the making of rods, staves, wands and miscellaneous magic.

Sage Abilities

The sage abilities below are those acquired by a character through the study, according to status.

Amateur Status

  • Magewright's Prentice: able to perform the low and necessary labour of magical concoctions, salves or other alchemical processes, grinding powders, fetching, pumping bellows, polishing and cleaning, scraping old residue keeping the laboratory workbench in order. Listening and obedience is a high skill, enabling the character to perfectly perform such acts described by another.

Expert Status

  • Enchant Rods & Wands: invest magic into wood of a magic nature to make magic rods and wands with multiple charges.

Sage Status

  • Enchant Staff: invest magic into wood of a magic nature to make magic staves of enormous power that possess multiple charges.
