'''Trees''' is a [[Sage Study|sage study]] in the [[Sage Field|field]] of [[Plant Life (sage field)|Plant Life]]. It encompasses knowledge of large perennials with an elongated stem, or trunk, supporting branches and leaves, of the deciduous, broadleaf and coniferous varieties.

Trees in the wild and those that are cultivated produce a wide variety of useful products, notably fruit, treenuts and lumber, as well as leaves for fodder and a variety of spices and incense. Characters who possess knowledge of trees are able to exploit trees both as a natural resource and as an ornamental - and sometimes defensive - environment.
