Arctic region reaching from 82.34°N south to 72.51°N, a frozen wasteland between the Evenk Sea and the Arctic Ocean. Has never been explored. Comprised of ice fields that remain the year round, though in summer months stretches of water, called leads, occur spontaneously in places and freeze again without warning.

-Arctic region reaching from 82.34°N south to 72.51°N, a frozen stretch of water of the Arctic Ocean called the Evenk Sea.  The water here is characterised by perpetual sea ice or drifting ice floes for most of the year, with only brief periods of partial melting during the summer months. The waters are dark, frigid and nutrient-poor.  Strong currents, primarily influenced by the Transpolar Drift and the Beaufort Gyre, move the ice and water westward toward the Yukaghir and Kara seas.  Marine life is sparse, with only hardy plankton, krill, and deep-water fish adapted to the extreme cold. Larger fauna, such as narwhals, beluga whales, and ringed seals, are rare but occasionally travel through this remote expanse. The harsh polar climate, extreme isolation, and near-constant darkness in winter make this one of the most inhospitable and unexplored oceanic regions on Earth.
